About The Author

When I first started writing, my name was Brenda Caddell.  Now it is Brenda Caddell Washington.  I started writing my book while my daughter attended Clark College in Atlanta Georgia.  I worked part time and spent the rest of my time writing my book.  When my daughter graduated from college I decided to move back to Detroit and finish my book.  My book contains both fiction and non-fiction events.  Rain Rain Go Away is about a young lady that unfortunately got caught up in a world of trouble.  She decided that she had to disappear.  She was not sure what might happen to her.

I was born in a small town in North Carolina named Robbins.  My family returns every year for the annual family reunion.  I wrote and put on plays for the church I attended in Michigan.  That is how we raised money for other functions.  So, my family designated me as the official play writer and director for the annual family reunion plays.  It was during this time that I decided to write my book.  I know you will enjoy it.  Please look forward to the release of my second book called Escape.  Thank you in advance for reading Rain Rain Go Away.
